Detailed 3 Days Murchison Flying Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Flight from Entebbe to Murchison falls park

You will fly from Entebbe airport to Murchison falls national park and on arrival in the national park your guide will be waiting to pick you up and welcome you for the safari. You will be driven to the lodge for check in.

After having lunch at the lodge, you will engage in an afternoon game drive in Murchison falls national park and look out for wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, giraffes, warthogs, antelopes among others. You will explore the savannah plains as you drive around the national park in search of wildlife and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Hot air balloon safari and bottom of the falls boat cruise

You will wake up early and your guide will drive you to the landing site of the hot air balloons in Murchison falls national park where you will have a briefing before you begin the activity. You will enjoy seeing different wildlife species and attractions in Murchison falls national park during the balloon safari which takes one hour. After landing, you will enjoy bush breakfast and champagne. After the activity you will enjoy an enroute game drive on the way to the lodge.

After lunch at the lodge, you will engage in a boat ride to the bottom of the Murchison falls. During the boat ride, you will see wildlife species such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalos as well as Nile crocodiles by the water shores. You will also see different bird species during the boat ride and also watch the sunset. After the boat ride to the bottom of the falls, you will return to the lodge where you will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Flight to Entebbe

After having breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and your guide will drive you to the airstrip for your flight from Murchison falls park to Entebbe airport which will bring the tour to an end.
