Honeymoon Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport & Transfer to Jinja
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative before beginning a scenic road transfer to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your lodge along the Nile River, enjoying a relaxed evening by the water.

Day 2 – White Water Rafting & Horse Riding in Jinja
Today is dedicated to adventure and fun. Enjoy a thrilling white-water rafting experience on the Nile, one of the world’s best rafting sections, followed by a leisurely horse-riding experience through scenic countryside and riverside landscapes. The rest of the day is spent relaxing and enjoying Jinja’s laid-back atmosphere.

Day 3 – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, depart Jinja and travel north toward Murchison Falls National Park, stopping en route at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot, completing Uganda’s Big Five story. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check into your lodge near the Nile.

Day 4 – Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Top of the Falls Visit
After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for a morning game drive at Murchison Falls National Park. During the game drive, you explore an array of wildlife and these may include Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards, warthogs, lions, baboons, and several bird species.
The game drive lasts about 2-4 hours with several chances to spot and photograph wildlife in the wilderness. After the game drive, you are driven back to the hotel for relaxation and lunch.
In the evening at about 2:00 pm, you will undertake a boat cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls. The falls are so powerful and mesmerizing to watch as they form a great fall 23 feet below after squeezing through a 7-meter gorge. The boat takes you a few feet below the powerful falls.
From the bottom, you get off the boat for an adventurous hike to the top of the falls. It lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour to see one of the greatest falls. From the top of the falls, you meet your driver guide for an evening drive back to the hotel for dinner and the night.
Accommodation will be as of the previous night.

Day 5 – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Murchison Falls National Park and journey south toward Kibale Forest National Park, traveling through scenic countryside and tea plantations. Arrive at your forest lodge in the afternoon and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by rainforest sounds.

Day 6 – Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will start the day with a guided chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest, tracking these intelligent primates in their natural habitat. After lunch, continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving at your safari lodge in time to relax and enjoy sunset views over the savannah.

Day 7: Morning game drive and evening boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have desired breakfast at the hotel then proceed for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the game drive, you explore an array of wildlife and these may include Elephants, Buffaloes, warthogs, Hyenas, lions, and several bird species.
The game drive lasts about 2-4 hours with several chances to spot and photograph wildlife in the wilderness. After the game drive, you are driven back to the hotel for relaxation and lunch.
In the evening at about 3:00 pm, you will undertake a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel famed to attract a lot of wildlife and bird species. Here you will enjoy a launch cruise on the 40km long channel that connects lakes, Albert, and George. Take as many photos as you can here as wildlife will be up-close.
Later on, you are driven back to the hotel at sunset for dinner and stay for the night. Accommodation will be as of the previous night.

Day 8 – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel through the Ishasha Sector, well known for its tree-climbing lions, before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your forest lodge nestled deep within the rainforest.
Day 9: Mountain Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters. You are expected to be at the park headquarters by 8:00 am local time for a briefing on the gorilla trekking etiquette from the park rangers.
It is at this time when the allocation of a gorilla family for every 8 members to trek is allocated. If you have any specific needs or are unable to hike for further distances communicate during briefing such that you are allocated a close family.
After the briefing, you receive your trekking stick and start the walk to the forest for the experience. Trekking to and from is dependent on where the gorillas spent their previous night, the nearer they are the faster you see them and vice versa. However, when you meet the family, you are allowed to spend only 1 hour seeing them go along with their daily lifestyle.
Take this time to enjoy the experience and record memories using your non-flash photography camera. After one hour you trek back to the park headquarters where you receive a congratulatory certificate and be driven to your hotel by the driver for lunch.
After the lunch, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the evening to relax by the tranquil lakeshore.

Day 10 – Canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi & Transfer to Lake Mburo
Enjoy a peaceful canoeing experience on Lake Bunyonyi, gliding between mist-covered islands and enjoying the calm atmosphere. Later, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, arriving in the afternoon and checking into your lodge overlooking the park.

Day 11 – Walking Safari & Afternoon Game Drive in Lake Mburo
After breakfast, you will start the day with a guided walking safari, offering a unique opportunity to explore the park on foot and observe zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and birdlife at close range. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through Lake Mburo National Park, known for its rolling savannah and scenic lakes.

Day 12 – Transfer to Entebbe & Departure
