6 Days Uganda Honeymoon Safari Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport & Transfer to Your Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and assisted through arrival formalities before enjoying a private transfer to your boutique hotel or luxury lodge in Entebbe. The remainder of the day is reserved for rest and relaxation after your international journey, allowing you to ease into Uganda at a gentle pace while enjoying a quiet evening together.

Day 2 – Scenic Transfer or Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, either by a scenic road transfer through Uganda’s rolling countryside and highland landscapes or by a scheduled domestic flight for added comfort and efficiency. Upon arrival at your forest lodge, the afternoon is spent at leisure, allowing you to settle into the tranquil rainforest setting and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience ahead.

Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, your driver-guide picks you up for a drive to the Bwindi National park headquarters. On arrival at the park headquarters, you start with a gorilla trekking briefing by the park rangers on the dos and don’ts of Gorilla trekking in Bwindi.
During the briefing, you are allocated a Gorilla family that you track with 7 other individuals alongside park guides. From the park headquarters, you go through the rush forest in search of the Mountain Gorillas.
Gorilla trekking may take about 2-4 hours to and from depending on where the Gorillas spent their previous night. However, only 1 hour (60 minutes) can be spent in the presence of the Mountain Gorillas.
After 1 hour in the presence of a Gorilla family, you trek back to the park headquarters where you meet the tour guide for a transfer back to your lodge.

Day 4 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following a relaxed breakfast, depart Bwindi and travel north toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and scenic wildlife areas. The journey offers beautiful views of rolling hills, crater lakes, and rural communities along the way. Arrive at your safari lodge in the park and enjoy the afternoon at leisure, taking in sweeping savannah views and wildlife activity around the lodge.

Day 5 – Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel
Start the day with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you have excellent chances of spotting elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and a wide variety of birdlife as the savannah comes alive. After lunch and a short rest, enjoy a scenic afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and water birds, offering exceptional wildlife viewing from a relaxed perspective.

Day 6 – Departure from Entebbe
