Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly received by our Nextgen Safaris guide and transferred to your lodge for relaxation after your long journey and a briefing of the 11 Days Uganda Group Joining Safari.

Day 2: Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive northwards with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an on-foot rhino trekking experience — the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be seen in the wild. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, visit the top of the falls for a breathtaking view of the Nile squeezing through a 7-meter gorge.
Travel Time: Approx. 6–7 hours including stops

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Start the day with a sunrise game drive across the savannah, look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Land of Chimpanzees

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning, enjoy your chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest, an unforgettable experience observing them in their natural habitat. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for your next wildlife experience.

Day 6: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Enjoy an early game drive through the Kasenyi plains to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos and incredible birdlife.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth – Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its unique tree-climbing lions. Continue to the misty hills of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari, Gorilla Trekking! After briefing by the park rangers, set off into the jungle to meet a family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend one magical hour observing and photographing them before returning to your lodge.

Day 9: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park | Evening Nature Walk
After breakfast, depart Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest but most scenic park. Upon arrival, enjoy an evening guided nature walk to spot zebras, impalas, elands, and more.

Day 10: Lake Mburo – Equator Stop – Return to Entebbe
