Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Rusizi Town Closer Congo Boarder

On this day, you will be transferred from Kigali and drive to the western Province of Rwanda with an optional activity to visit the Kings Palace Museum in Nyanza before driving to Rusizi by crossing the Nyungwe National Park. On arrival in Rusuzi, you will check in to your booked hotel, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Kahuzi Biega and Return to Kigali

On this day, with an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the border with Congo. You will go through the migration processes across the border to Congo and continue with a drive to Kahuzi-Biega National Park.

On arrival, you will head to the park headquarters for registration and briefing about law land gorilla trekking. The trekking takes between 2 to 4 hours depending on the speed limit and location of the gorillas. On finding them, you will spend 1 hour observing them and taking pictures. After that return to the starting point, you will jump on your jeep and transfer back to Kigali.
