After an early breakfast, we will proceed to the Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point for gorilla trekking orientation.

Together with experienced rangers and trackers, we will enter Bwindi Forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, we will spend the permitted time observing them as they feed, groom, rest, play and interact in their natural rainforest habitat.

After trekking, we will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 3: Bwindi – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector

We will begin with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The safari offers opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas and numerous bird species, while leopard sightings are possible with some luck.

After lunch, we will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where we can see large hippo pods, Nile crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes along the shoreline, together with abundant waterbirds.

The lodge offers a peaceful forest atmosphere, simple but comfortable rooms, warm hospitality, and a relaxed setting surrounded by the beautiful highlands of Bwindi. Meals will be arranged at the lodge, including an early breakfast before gorilla trekking and a packed lunch for the trek.
