Day 1: Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga
Your 1 Day Golden Monkey Trekking Mgahinga Gorilla NP Trip begins early in the morning. At 5:00 AM, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel with packed breakfast and lunch in hand. From there, you will transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where you will register at the park headquarters and receive a briefing from experienced ranger guides.

Once the briefing is complete, you will set out on a guided trek in search of the golden monkeys. The trek takes you through stunning bamboo forests, where you can observe these energetic and playful primates in their natural habitat. The experience not only provides an intimate wildlife encounter but also serves as a great way to acclimatize to the high-altitude terrain.
