DAY 4: Gorilla Trekking / Gorilla Habituation Experience – Departure

Today marks the most important and unforgettable experience of your safari.

After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park briefing point, where Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers and researchers will assign you to a gorilla family depending on your selected experience.

Option 1: Gorilla Trekking Experience

You will trek through dense rainforest trails in search of a fully habituated gorilla family. The trek may take 2–6 hours depending on movement. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas as they feed, play, and interact naturally in their forest home.

Option 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience (Premium Upgrade)

For a more immersive experience, you will join researchers tracking a semi-habituated gorilla family. This exclusive activity allows you to spend up to 4 hours with gorillas, observing their behavior in a more natural and less disturbed environment.
