This 6 Days Rwanda Wildlife and Cultural Vacation takes you around to experience the authentic Rwanda and her beauty from the Wildlife safaris of Akagera National Park, the sunset boat cruise, the city tours in Kigali with the genocide memorial center, cultural tours in Volcanoes National Park and Lake Kivu adventures with full relaxation. It is a private tour you will be using a private safari jeep.

Arrival for this 6 Days Rwanda Wildlife and Cultural Vacation

You’ll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Day 1: Arrival at the Kigali International airport

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, our Dedicated team of Nextgen Safaris will be at the Kigali International airport for the meet and greet assistance, clear with customs. Transfer to the Kigali hotel. Enjoy hotel amenities, have dinner and rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park – sunset boat cruise

After your breakfast, you will start off your journey to the Eastern part of Rwanda. Akagera National Park is Home to the Big 5- Game safaris. On the way enjoy Landscapes and the hills of Rwanda, en route game drives and views as you drive to the lodge, expect to see some animals such as elephants, Giraffes, lions, buffaloes etc check in, order your lunch at the lodge, relax a bit.

Afternoon embarks on the sunset boat cruise where you are rewarded with several hippos and bird species on Lake Ihema. Retire and drive back to the lodge refresh and relax using hotel amenities. Later have dinner and rest.

Day 3: Akagera Wildlife safaris and transfer Back to Kigali

7 Days Murchison Falls, Chimpanzee & Gorilla Trekking

Akagera is also known as one of the most scenic savannahs in East Africa. After your breakfast, have your packed lunch boxes (order them). You will visit the Giraffe area in the south and the lakes road up towards Birengero.

Akagera National Park is home to elephant, Lions, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and antelope and many more. Have a stopover for packed lunch at the picnic area. Last short game drives. Then continue with a drive straight back to Kigali city. Arrival at the hotel, relax with dinner and rest.

Day 4: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park – Visit Ellen campus

After your breakfast, embark on the Kigali city tour; go for a visit to the Genocide memorial center, then drive to Musanze, visit the multi-acre, eco-friendly facility adjacent to the Volcanoes National Park includes three main buildings – the Sandy and Harold Price Research Center, the Rob and Melani Walton Education Center and the Cindy Broder Conservation Gallery – as well as housing for visiting students and researchers.

The Ellen Campus is designed to serve as a gateway to conservation for the many stakeholders with whom we work as well as visitors from around the world, helping to create the next generation of conservationists hoose a nice restaurant for your lunch in Musanze then you will drive to the lodge with check in and relaxation. Enjoy property amenities, evening at leisure. Dinner and rest.

Day 5: Cultural Experiences + Transfer to Lake Kivu with a Night Fishing Experience

After your breakfast you will proceed to check out then go for Cultural Experiences at the Gorilla Guardians former I’byiwacu Cultural Village this place is fun with lots of Rwandan history and ancient stories. Feel free to take part in their traditional dance Proceed with a transfer to Lake Kivu Rubavu side Arrival at the hotel with full relaxation at the beach shores whole afternoon and later you will head out for the Night fishing experiences.

Join the singing traditional fishermen of Lake Kivu at night on the lake as they fish for sambaza the famous small fish of Lake Kivu This tour is as real as it gets with amazing scenery
Later have dinner and rest.

Day 6: Lake Kivu boat cruise and Transfer back to Kigali + Departure

Wake up to your breakfast, enjoy it with the Lake Views. Then embark on the morning boat cruise on Lake Kivu to discover its different beautiful islands while on the lake, have the fantastic view of the country. During the boat cruise, you will see a variety of bird species including pelicans, crowned cranes and malachite kingfishers.

Depending on how busy the day is, this boat cruise lasts an average of 2 hours, then you will be transferred back to Kigali, last minute souvenir shopping in Kigali city craft shops depending on your air transfer drive to Kigali international airport for your transfer back home
