We hope that your flight is for an early landing (before 10:00 am) in Uganda. Your safari will start from Entebbe International Airport where the assigned professional tour driver-guide will receive you and then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harbouring over 300 of them, which is almost half of the world’s gorilla population.
The drive will take you to southwest Uganda by road. You will cross the equator mark, then head to Mbarara city for lunch, thereafter pass through the hilly terrain of western Uganda into Bwindi. You will arrive and do little but just check in to your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Transfer to Mount Bisoke Rwanda
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the National Park headquarters to meet your ranger guides for the day. After completing our park formalities, we are embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of tracking mountain Gorillas Once you spot them you are allowed to spend one hour watching with them. This is perhaps one of the most breath-taking wildlife experiences on earth, you get so close to these awesome giant primates.
You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. Tracking the Mountain Gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. These massive primates are extremely rare, with less than 700 living today. You will get within seven meters of distance with them. The trekking may be fairly strenuous; up to six hours or longer at a relatively high altitude. After lunch, cross to Rwanda through Cyanika boarder. Check in and relax for the hiking activity the next day.
Accommodation: Davinci Gorilla Lodge.
Davinci Gorilla Lodge.

This will probably take 6 to 8 hours in total. With this activity you must be fit physically to conquer the beautiful hill as it gets muddy when it rains but very interesting to get to the top where the Crater Lake can be viewed from before descending back to the lodge.
