From Entebbe, the trip starts in Murchison Falls NP with a savanna game drive and a boat safari bringing you so close to the falls and catching sight of the big & small animals along the Nile river. 10 Days Luxury Uganda Wildlife Safari Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival
Arrive Entebbe international airport, you will meet your Luxury Uganda Wildlife Safari driver and guide who will then transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2 – Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
Transfer to Entebbe airport for a flight to Murchison Falls National Park, on landing at Pakuba or Bugungu airstrip, meet and greet with your Luxury Uganda Wildlife Safari guide waiting for you and transfer to the lodge.
Murchison Falls National park, one of the oldest parks in Uganda. First gazetted as a game reserve in 1926 Murchison Falls Park is located in the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley Hosting over 76 species of mammals and 451 species of birds.
It is also bisected by the Victoria Nile which 45m over the remnant rift valley wall, creating the spectacular Murchison Falls.
The river offers a great opportunity for a game drive and the regular visitors to the riverbanks include elephants, giraffes and buffaloes, while hippos, Nile crocodiles and aquatic birds are permanent residents. You may go for an evening game drive or decide to relax at the lodge.

Day 3 – Game drive and Boat cruise
Early morning game drive in the park searching for the animals, major species likely to be sited on the game drive includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, kobs, and on a lucky day even a lion can be sited.
After lunch go for an afternoon Luxury Uganda Wildlife Safari boat cruise to the bottom of falls where you will disembark and take a hike to the top of falls, this is a rewarding adventure as the hike is relatives and takes you along the water fall through a forested hill with great views of the waterfalls.

Day 4 – Murchison Falls National park to Kibale National Park
This Luxury Uganda Wildlife Safari day starts with a morning breakfast and Transfer to the airstrip for a flight from Murchison falls National park to Kasese Airstrip. Meet our guide who will transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park.
Depending on the time you arrive Kibale, visit the crater lakes and hike to the top of the world or relax at the lodge.

Day 5 – Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp
Kibale forest has over 1,450 individuals (Chimpanzees) protected within the park. At Kanyanchu, a community of chimpanzees has been habituated since 1991, allowing visitors an outstanding opportunity to Track these apes in their natural Habitat.
Tracking starts at 7am with a briefing at Kanyanchu Park headquarter where you will be allocated rangers to take you to the forest. An advance team already in the forest keep tracking the chimps and communicates with your ranger on the radio call. Tracking can last for 2 to 4 hours depending on how far the chimps could be feeding.
In the afternoon visit to Bigodi swamp, a swamp walk will reward you a great experience hence contributing to the community in the end.
This is a community project aimed at improving the livelihoods of the local people, a local guide will lead you on a developed 4.5km trail through the swamp for approximately 3 hours where you can find several bird species including the great blue Turraccos, Hornibils Kingfishers and also Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkeys can be spotted.

Day 6 – Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning relaxed drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with lunch en-route, and afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga channel will give you great views of several game including Hippos, Buffaloes, elephants and birdlife that queen Elizabeth National Park has to offer, off the boat cruise and continue with an evening game drive in the park before returning to your lodge for an overnight.

Day 7 – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning transfer to the Ishasha sector of the park for the Luxury Uganda Wildlife Safari game drives.
This sector has the largest population of wildlife in the park compared to Mweya and Kasenyi sectors.
Game drive searching for tree climbing lions: on a lucky day you can see several prides resting in the branches of fig trees..

Day 8 – Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Gorilla Park
Morning game drive in the Ishasha plains to increase your chances of seeing the endangered species of lions and a leopard depending on how lucky you are you may come in sight with the big cats, before transferring to Bwindi Gorilla Park arriving for lunch relax at the lodge contemplating on the Gorilla Trekking adventure the next morning.

Day 9 – Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Forest
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in south-western Uganda edge at the edge of the great east African Rift Valley. It is a home to over 400 species of mountain gorillas about half of the world’s population. Many of these are habituated in families that are daily visited by tourists. The forest is also a home to over 350 species of birds and 400 flora species.
Gorilla trekking starts at 8am after a briefing at the park headquarters, you will trek through the dense steep forest searching for the gorillas depending on where they were seen making nests the previous evening.
The trekking can last 2-7 hours depending on how soon you find the gorillas; this is influenced by the location they stayed overnight. Trekking can be a tasking adventure, but coming to a facial close-up with these close relatives to human is a reward worthy to earn

Day 10 – Bwindi Gorilla Park to Entebbe and Departure
The last day of your safari starts with a transfer from Bwindi Forest Park to Kihihi Airstrip for a flight to Entebbe arriving in time to check in for your connecting flight back home.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
All visitors to Uganda must have a valid passport with at least 4 consecutive blanks pages. Any applicable visa and/or relevant documentation are the responsibility of the traveller. For further information on Visa requirements visitors are advised to contact their nearest Uganda Embassy or Consulate.

220 Volts/AC50Hz. Sockets are UK style, 3 pin square plugs. Power is from the government in the city/major towns and generator with inverter back up in the Safari Lodges and Camps.
CURRENCY:
Foreign currency must be changed at the Bank, Bureau de Change, and Hotel/Safari lodge/Camp/Resort. Major Credit Cards, Master card, Visa, American Express, are usually accepted throughout the country. Where credit cards are accepted, the payment will normally be recorded in US$ regardless of the card’s default currency.
CLOTHING:
Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.
BAGGAGE:
Where possible, travel light. Baggage space on safari is limited to medium suitcase or soft bag per person plus reasonable amount of hand luggage. There is 15 Kilogram per person limit on all flights to the wildlife sanctuaries. Excess luggage must be stored in your arrival hotel.
WATER:
You will find many different of opinion of what is safe and what is not. We recommend for peace of mind, to drink local Bottled Mineral water. It is important to drink plenty of water especially during the hotter months. We would recommend that guests drink at least 2 to 3 litres of water per day to limit the effects of dehydration.
HEALTH;
East Africa is a safe and secure destination; however, it is a good idea to take a few precautions. Kindly consult your GP or local doctor at least 6 weeks before you travel, with regards:
Malaria prophylactics. East Africa is a known malaria area and preventive measures are essential. You are advised to take one of the recommended anti-malarial drugs. Be sure to wear long sleeved shorts and trousers after sunset and spray the exposed parts of your body with a mosquito repellent spray
Remember to protect yourself from direct sun rays with sunscreen cream or safari hat.
