Day 1: Harare International Airport Transfer to the Cresta Lodge

On arrival at the Harare International Airport, you will be met by an Africa Zim Travel Representative and proceed through Zimbabwe’s Capital City. This tour exposes an impeccably clean city, bustling with busy shops, wide open streets, and warm hospitable. We will also show you the botanical garden and the balancing rocks (dinner)
Cresta Lodge (1 night).

Day 2: Harare to Nyanga National Park (The Eastern Highlands)

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Harare and head through the diverse scenery of farmlands and rocky outcrops and into the magnificent mountainous area of the Eastern highlands, also known as “the little England” of Zimbabwe. On arrival at the hotel, you will be able to take in beautiful calm views and serene settings. (Optional activities are available —horse riding, golf, fishing, for own account) (breakfast and dinner)
Your overnight stay will be in Trout Beck Inn (2 nights).

Day 3: Trout-Beck Inn Resort Nyanga National Park

The day is yours to explore or relax. You’ll enjoy the hotel and stroll down to the dam to watch the rainbow trout diving through the waters. You will have a full-day tour of Nyanga National Park (for your account). You will experience a village from the Stone Ages known as Pit Huts, or a visit to a Rainbow Trout hatchery set in the natural pools of the sparkling river. (Breakfast and dinner).

Day 4: Nyanga to Great Zimbabwe Masvingo

This morning after breakfast, you’ll depart for Masvingo, the Ancient City, where you will be inspired by the Ruins of Great Zimbabwe built in 1200AD. The Ruined City of Great Zimbabwe is the largest and most significant ancient monument south of the Sahara and only second to the Egyptian pyramids. Here, your guide will take you through the Acropolis, the Great Enclosure, and the Conical Tower. Your meal plan includes breakfast and dinner.

Day5: Great Zimbabwe

After breakfast, you will depart Matobo Hills and pass through the second largest city in Zimbabwe with wide tree-lined streets and surrounded by beautiful parks. Within the city are many examples of early Victorian buildings which are maintained by the Bulawayo City Council and landlords as heritage sites. You will proceed to Matobo for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Your overnight stay will be in Matobo Hills Lodge.

Day 6: Matobo National Park

This full day will be spent exploring the area and some highlights include cave paintings and panoramas of the countryside at “View of the World”. We hope to catch a glimpse of black rhino and plains game, but this area is famous for its dense concentrations of birds of prey. You will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 7: Matobo to Hwange National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Hwange National Park. This is one of Africa’s finest havens for wildlife and is home to the herds of presidential elephants. It is also home to many predators, endangered species, and varied bird life. You will transfer onto an open vehicle and proceed on a game drive transfer to our lodge. On arrival, you will enjoy lunch overlooking the beautiful plains, and proceed on an afternoon game drive. After sundowners, a dinner will be enjoyed as the sounds of the night. You will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Sable Sands Hwange or similar(2 nights).

11 Days Zimbabwe Victoria Falls Safari

Day 8: Hwange National Park

You will enjoy a morning game drive through the vast plains to experience more species. We hope to view more of the many species that live in the national park whilst exploring the magnificent landscape. You will return to the lodge for an afternoon siesta. Later, you will proceed for an evening game drive to view the nocturnal inhabitants of the Hwange National Park. You will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 9: Hwange to Victoria Falls

You will have an early rise accompanied by tea and coffee before we enjoy our transfer down to Victoria Falls. Your first stop will be at the Painted Dog Conservation Center in Hwange. Here, you will learn more about Wild Dogs and the Center’s efforts to protect these beautiful animals from extinction. After this, you’ll head for the town of Victoria Falls. Your afternoon can be spent at leisure, or you can book one of the many activities available. On arrival in Victoria Falls, you’ll check-in and enjoy an afternoon sunset cruise. Your meals include breakfast and dinner.

Day 10: Victoria Falls

After breakfast, you will enjoy a tour of the Victoria Falls. You will stop at various vantage points to view the falls and walk through the rainforest whilst witnessing the rainbows and feeling the spray and thundering noise of water falling into the gorge. The rest of your afternoon will be spent at leisure, where you can book one of many activities with your guide. Optional activities are rafting, elephant riding, helicopter over the falls, lion walk experience, canoeing afternoon and night game drives, jet board, adrenaline e.g. high wire, bungee jumping, bridge slide, and gorge swing. You will have breakfast and dinner.

Day 11: Victoria Falls to Victoria Falls Airport

You will enjoy breakfast before checking out and be transferred to the Victoria Falls Airport. Your meal plan includes breakfast.

GENERAL INFORMATION
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: All visitors on this 4 Days Victoria Falls Group Tour must have a valid passport with at least 4 consecutive blanks pages.  Any applicable visa and/or relevant documentation are the responsibility of the traveler.  For further information on Visa requirements visitors are advised to contact their nearest Zimbabwe Embassy or Consulate.

LANGUAGE: English
TIME: GMT +3
VOLTAGE: 220 Volts/AC50Hz. Sockets are UK style, 3 pin square plugs. Power is from the government in the city/major towns and generator with inverter back up in the Safari Lodges and Camps.
CURRENCY: Foreign currency must be changed at the Bank, Bureau de Change, and Hotel/Safari lodge/Camp/Resort.   Major Credit Cards, Master card, Visa, American Express, are usually accepted throughout the country.  Where credit cards are accepted, the payment will normally be recorded in US$ regardless of the card’s default currency.
CLOTHING: Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.
BAGGAGE: Where possible, travel light. Baggage space on safari is limited to medium suitcase or soft bag per person plus reasonable amount of hand luggage. There is 15 Kilogram per person limit on all flights to the wildlife sanctuaries. Excess luggage must be stored in your arrival hotel.
WATER: You will find many different of opinion of what is safe and what is not. We recommend for peace of mind, to drink local Bottled Mineral water. It is important to drink plenty of water especially during the hotter months. We would recommend that guests drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water per day to limit the effects of dehydration.
HEALTH:Africa is a safe and secure destination; however, it is a good idea to take a few precautions.  Kindly consult your GP or local doctor at least 6 weeks before you travel, with regards: Malaria prophylactics. East Africa is a known malaria area and preventive measures are essential. You are advised to take one of the recommended anti-malarial drugs.  Be sure to wear long sleeved shorts and trousers after sunset and spray the exposed parts of your body with a mosquito repellent spray Remember to protect yourself from direct sun rays with sunscreen cream or safari hat.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: For those guests with specific dietary requirement, please ensure we are notified prior to travel
GRATUITIES: As a guideline and dependent on how happy you are, we would suggest the following: The General Hotel/Lodge/Camp Staff – Approximately U$ 10.00 per person per day Driver Guides – Approximately US$ 15.00 to US$ 20.00 per person per day.
